Shelburne Falls is located just off Route 2, about 8 miles west of I-91 and Greenfield (see map on "Contact Us" page). In addition to the Bridge of Flowers and Glacial Potholes, the village has a variety of artisan shops, restaurants, and three bookshops! Parking is free!

Deerfield River Flooding due to Hurricane Irene
Sunday, Aug 28th 2011, the Deerfield River overflowed its banks damaging numerous businesses and homes in Shelburne Falls and throughout much of the Atlantic Coast and the North East. We lost about 2/3 of our inventory.
Our old bookshop flooded to about 3 ft. above the floor. Muck and filthy water destroyed much of our inventory. We have re-opened at a higher elevation!
